I just came home from the most dramatic tram ride ever. I can tell you one thing: you do not want to get caught getting a free ride on the tram here in Holland.
About 5 or 6 control officers from the transport company came into the tram at the Centraal Station, and a guy who was standing in front of the carriage tried to run out. They tackled him, grabbed him by his jacket and pushed him against the doors. People were running away from the scene and evacuating the whole front half of the carriage where they now surrounded him, 6 against 1. It seemed like they were interrogating him, and I took some photos (for the purpose of posting here). Then one of them comes up to me, obviously upset, and says in a very aggressive way that I didn't have their permission to take photos and that I couldn't use them. I apologised of course, and after seeing the "victim" bleeding as he left the tram, I decided not to publish the photos. HTM is a scary company...
Haha, de är inte nådiga på tramsen!
